Тhe understanding of subcultures as social phenomena that affects the adaptation of the individual in modern society is more than necessary in the field of sociology. Today we live in a world full of ambiguities in which the official culture is more a confusing than a unifying factor for citizens who are burdened with the daily demands of the "System". The world of subcultures is transcendent, and offers them values that these people cannot articulate in the formal groups they are constantly in. However, in a postmodern society where culture is demystified and disfigured, subcultures change their meaning and often through them the official culture imposes its positions on further cultural development of the human population.
